As the old saying goes advice is cheap. As a matter of fact, thanks to the internet not only is advice cheap in most cases these days it's free. This takes us to our second old saying: You get what you pay for. I suppose we pay for all this free expert advice by enduring the pop-up advertisements and the occasional solicitations to pay a nominal fee for more and better advice.

Keeping in mind the dangers of relaying on the advice of strangers and our inability to examine the credentials of the so called experts from afar, let's take a look at a few of the more interesting and useful ask an expert and free advice sites we have come across.
