Be it Dog, cat, bird, fish or reptile - you name it - and someone, some place has a special spot in their heart for one. Not only do our pets occupy a huge part of our lives, they also occupy a hefty portion of the internet. It goes without saying that if we mention the internet and pets in the same breath we are somewhat obliged to talk about virtual pets, this is not a hard thing to do, the net is loaded with them. While virtual pets can not offer us a fraction of what the real ones do they can and do offer an interesting diversion from our daily computing routine. As a matter of fact the virtual version of the pet does have its advantages, for example you don't have to feed them or for that matter follow them around with a pooper scooper. Whether your preference is for the real thing or the electronic version of the pet it makes little difference when it comes to information and options available to us through the net. Everything from how to pick out the perfect first puppy to how to teach an old dog new tricks, it's all here. Listed below is but a small example of the links available that the pet owner or prospective pet owner should find entertaining or informative...
