What can one say in condemnation of the recent events that has not already been said?
A radical few have undeniably won a battle and in the process taken many lives. Will they win the war?
In what form should the righteous indignation of the civilized world manifest itself?

These are but a few of the questions that we, the freedom and peace loving people of this world have undoubtedly been asking ourselves lately. If not out loud, perhaps we have been doing so silently, as we look into the eyes of our children or in the still of the night as we drift off to sleep. We here at OpenNote would dare not be so presumptuous as to offer anything that could be misconstrued as an attempt to answer these questions. Nor will we offer websites that profess to have the answers, rather what we would like to offer is a few places we can go and perhaps find or learn how to find a little inner peace. Within inner peace there is to be found clarity and strength. God knows, clarity of thought and strength of will is something we all need in these times of chaos and uncertainty. Democracy in its many forms will without question survive and yes, even grow stronger during these times of attack and tribulation. Just as it is imperative that the civilized nations of the world stand together we must as individuals seek out each other and draw upon each others strengths. We need to lend a helping hand when possible. We need to be willing to accept a helping hand when we need one. Have a look at some of the places listed here, who knows, maybe you will find a way to make it all a little easier.
