The Top Link of the Month October:

This is without question the most impressive set of live web cameras we have ever come across. Ironically they happen to be sitting on top of the Empire State Building, which with the recent demise of the World Trade Center, is once again the tallest building in New York. Not only are these cameras all controllable, there is also a library of past images snapped by webcam users. When viewing these stored images you have the option to go to a live shot of that exact same area. It is to say the least haunting to view a past image of the World trade Center then go to the live shot. The buildings are gone, but somehow a scar remains in the skyline.
